This is a tribute to all the women who ever existed over the entire span of human history. All proceeds from this track will go to ASTI: Acid Survivors Trust International
www.acidviolence.org When I saw a documentry last year about girls in India who had experienced an acid attack my heart broke in two. I wanted to do something to help. I hope you can download this track and help the amazing work ASTI are doing for girls who have experienced this horrifying trauma.
ASTI is the only organisation whose sole purpose is to work towards the end of acid violence across the world. Recognising the need for local knowledge and expertise in order to combat acid violence effectively, ASTI founded and continues to support the development of six partner organisations in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Pakistan, Nepal, Uganda and India. It also works with UN agencies, NGOs and strategic partners from across the world to increase awareness of acid violence and develop effective responses at the national and international level.
